Badasheng BDS-939PIf you’re playing games, especially if you’re playing with others, you simply must some good cheap gaming headsets at a good price. Some headphones offer amazing performance and sound quality, while others simply get the job done. Why not find a set that doesn’t hurt your wallet but still performs like the big guys? We’ve reviewed a few headsets to get you looking in the right direction!
When it comes to expertly performing gaming headphones, HyperX knows their stuff. Now, while they have the chops to hold up in a spec contest, what really makes this set shine is comfort and quality. That is to say, high performance sound, great microphone quality, and reliability. Not to mention the fact that this white on black color option is super clean looking. The mic detaches if you want to use them just for sound, and they do an admirable job at cancelling out surrounding noise. Using a standard 3.5mm plug, they’ll get along with any of your devices (PC, PS4, Mac, XBox One w/ adapter) and the packaging is pretty nice on top of all that. Lots of comparable sets go for well over $250 but not this awesome set. Priced at just under $80, this set won’t set you back too far, and they’ll stick with you for years. A real solid investment into your Man Cave!
If you’d like your headset to be a little easier on your bank account, Sentey has a great set of gaming headphones that may do the trick. This set uses USB to plug in and it gets along nicely with PCs and most Macs, although I wouldn’t recommend it for consoles. These are really comfortable and the sounds quality is good. The range is on the low end, meaning you’ll get those beefy bass sounds, and a few less higher, quieter tinny noises. A nice feature this set provides is a cool vibration effect with the lowest growls. For those who enjoy it, the effect can be awesome. The real draw of these headphones however, is the price. Going for under $40, you’d be really hard pressed to find a cheaper pair of comparable quality.
Boasting features like a detachable microphone and compatibility with all the big boys (PS4, PC, Mac, XBox One with adapter) using a 3.5mm plug, it’s actually really surprising to find such a great little pair of headphones for under $25. That’s right, fellas. This headset is coming in at under $25. The audio quality is good, the microphone is nice, and these bad boys get the job done. If you’re looking for exceptional quality and comfort, you may need to spend a bit more, but this headset will definitely work. This also happens to be our gaming headset recommendation for kids. From stocking stuffer to bona fide gift, this headset will get your kids into the game for very little cash and that’s great news! And when they’re done, you can borrow them for a game session of your own. A awesome, affordable set of headphones.
The good news is all of our recommendations come in at well under $100, but offer a great variety of features and quality. While we appreciate the craftsmanship of the HyperX, we can’t ignore the great value of the Badashengs.
